Val Fabiolo

Val Fabiolo is one of the valleys in the Park that does not have a road, but only a track. So, to reach the ancient and mysterious village of Sostila, it is necessary to walk for an hour more or less.
The name of this valley comes from the dialect word fabgiol, which means “little beech”, because of its rich  beech forests.
Val Fabiolo is “the sister” to Val Tartano, and both boast a great amount of deer, chamois, ibex, black woodpeckers and golden eagles.
